Frequently Asked Questions -

What payment types are accepted?
Cash, check and credit card payments are all accepted.

When will I be charged for my service?
All payments are processed when the service is scheduled. Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payments can all be arranged.

Do I have to order more than one service?
Although multiple visits per week are encouraged, no minimums are set on our services. It is very important for your dog to become acquainted with our staff and to get regular exercise, so a minimum of three visits per week is recommended.

Can you administer medicine?
There is no problem giving your dog most medicines. If there are any problems we will notify you immediately.

How will you walk my dog if I’m not at home to let you in?
A copy of your house key is needed to access your dog; this key should be provided at the consultation.

Will I meet the person who will be sitting/walking my dog?
Yes, the dog cruiser will be the person you meet at your consultation. The dog cruiser will also be able to answer any questions you might have at that time.

What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance.

What happens in an emergency?

We will contact you by phone, based on the emergency contact information you have provided us with in our files, and we will go immediately to the nearest Vet or your specific Vet we have on file. Our staff is required to know where at least 3 local vets are, specific to the areas that they cover.

How do I know my walker has been coming at the desired time?

Our business is based on trust first and foremost but we realize that accountability measures need to be in place in order to maintain schedule integrity and peace of mind. We will provide our clients with walk logs/dog report cards for our walkers to fill out each visit upon entering house and when they leave for the day. That way you know when someone has come and gone and any comments for the day

What results and benefits can I expect?

You can expect a happier and healthier dog, as well as relief of stress and guilt over your pet. Dogs that are left alone for long periods of time are often bored so they find things to do, like destroy things. An active lifestyle will decrease any negative behavior.
